The two had ascended the North Ridge but became stuck on the steep exit wall South of North Gully just below the summit, in snowy conditions. Three team members ascended the North ridge and captured the pair. With gathering darkness they ascended to the summit and descended down Western Gully in slippery conditions. |

Two girls were retreating from Grooved Arete when their rope became stuck and they were overtaken by darkness without torches. Team members went up Green Gully to reach them and then lowered them down tothe Heather Terrace and walked them off. A cold but clear moonlight night. |

Fall from Bristly Ridge sustaining head and knee injuries. (Initial information suggest the incident was on Tryfan) but it was in the steep gully to the west of Bristly Ridge. 22 Sqdn. put the winchman on the ground and then lifted four team members to escort the rest of the party off the hill. |

Following their failure to complete an easy, short route on the Gribin Facet, they decided to try a longer, harder route on the Idwal Slabs. They started Hope at 14:35hrs and got to the top in near-darkness. By the time they had completed the upper walk-off and a short abseil, they were in full darkness with just one small head torch. The next two hours were spend failing to find the path and they then constructed a short abseil which put them onto a small ledge with nowhere else to go. Finally, they phoned 999 for help. |

Party of 5 called police as one of party had a suspected fractured wrist. Party advised the team they "required a helicopter and how close could it and to them". Given the weather conditions, an aircraft was not justified, so the party carried on walking and were picked up by the team at Drum. |

Two men stuck near the top of Grooved Arete on the East Face of Tryfan. The two, part of a party of 10 over from Dublin for the w/e had started up the classic route at 11.00hrs. They lost confidence in their rock climbing shoes on the greasy rock. They were able to telephone their colleagues in Cwm Idwal who came up Tryfan with the intention of dropping a rope. Sadly, they could not locate the top of the route. A party of five Team members made their way up the North Ridge, along the Eastern Traverse and to the top stance of Grooved Arete. A team member was lowered down to the two. Each was then hauled up the crag. Everybody then walked down the N Ridge for breakfast at Oggi Base at 07.00hrs. The two men were physically and mentally exhausted from their ordeal. |

They had left at about 15.00 to climb Tryfan. Getting lost in the low cloud, they don't know if they reached the summit but decided to return down the North Ridge. Darkness fell and they were without a torch. Having a mobile telephone they were able to raise the alarm. In telephone conversation they reported that they could see the A5 and Llyn Ogwen. A Small party was dispatched with lights to escort the two off the hill. They were located just below the Milestone Buttress, 150m from the safety of the A5. They had not been able to identify the path on the screes and boulder field beneath the East side of the Buttress. |

One female with re-occurring pelvic injury. Six team members met with the casualty late on the Friday evening and bivvied out until the morning. Other Team members left base at first light on the Saturday morning to meet with the others. RAF Valley Troops were called in to assist with the carry off. The casualty was walked off part way and then stretcher carried down to the Pen Y Gwryd hotel and then taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by NHS Ambulance. In all the job ran for approximately 13/14 hours. |

The party of three had attempted to ascend the North Ridge of Tryfan, but been deterred by the final North Tower. They retraced their steps down the North Ridge but experienced difficulties in finding their way. They attempted to follow the ridge by using their GPS receiver to no avail. The party found themselves on steep ground by the Milestone buttress and made little attempt to extricate themselves. They requested assistance by contacting North Wales Police on a mobile telephone. |

The team were called to help rescue a young boy who plunged 30ft down a waterfall in the Dolgarrog Gorge. The 11-year-old fell at an inaccessible spot and he is thought to have broken arms and possible rib injuries. Firefighters used ropes to reach the boy while a doctor from the Team attached a medical line to administer drugs. |

A climber was reported to have fallen 200 feet off Belle Vue Bastion with severe head injuries. 22 Sqdn. dropped the winchman who found the climber sitting on a ledge, happy but with head lacerations. He was winched aboard and taken to hospital for overnight observation |

Team called for a 16yr old girl on DoE practice run with fractured ankle. She and 5 school friends were en route from Nant Gwynant to Dolwyddelan. She was crossing a small stream when she slipped on a wet rock, thus damaging her ankle. The Supervisor who was shadowing the group came to her aid. At first she tried to walk/hobble. Then the supervisor tried to carry her. By about 1300hrs they called for assistance. Two team Land Rovers with 10 troops were escorted by a friendly farmer on a Quad bike as far as they could go. It was then a short stretcher carry off to the LRs. The whole group was brought off to the A470 at Roman Bridge. She was transferred to National Health Ambulance. |

His three colleagues had put him in a poly bag on the track about 150m from the summit and awaited the team in a cool breeze and drizzle. Loaded into team vehicle. Initially they looked forward to the lift down ... until they saw the track in the headlights. Advised to go to hospital to check knees. |
